  • What to Expect During Your Prenatal Visits

During your prenatal visits or consult, I will focus on understanding your family's unique needs, desires, and vision for your child's birth. Here's a brief overview of what to expect:

    Initial Meeting:

We'll begin by getting to know each other and discussing your preferences, concerns, and expectations for your birth experience. This will help me tailor the information and resources I provide to best suit your needs.

    Information and Resource Sharing:

I'll gather relevant resources and information to support you and your partner as you prepare for the arrival of your child. We will work together to ensure you feel empowered and ready for the birth of your child.

    Birth Preferences and Comfort Measures:

We will focus on practical comfort techniques and discuss your preferences for labor and birth. We will also address strategies for handling unexpected changes that may occur. The primary goal of this session is to instill confidence and preparedness as you approach your birthing experience.

    Support and Preparation:

By the end of our prenatal visits, you and your partner will be equipped with the knowledge, tools, and support necessary to approach your birth experience with confidence and anticipation.

  • What to Expect During Your Postpartum Visits

During your postpartum visits, I will focus on providing comprehensive support tailored to your family's unique needs. Here's a brief overview of what to expect:

    Infant Feeding Support:

I offer guidance on various infant feeding methods, including breastfeeding, chest feeding, and bottle-feeding techniques. My goal is to ensure you feel comfortable and confident with your chosen feeding preferences.

    Baby Care Assistance:

I will help with all aspects of baby care, such as diapering, bathing, and soothing, allowing you time to rest and bond with your baby.

Emotional and Physical Support for Parents:

Your well-being is a priority during the postpartum period. I'm here to listen, offer encouragement, and provide resources for any concerns you may have. I'll support you in taking time you need for self-care, knowing your baby is well-cared for.

    Birth Story Listening:

Reflecting on your birth experience is a vital part of postpartum care. I'll create a safe space for you to share your story, promoting emotional healing and self-reflection.

    Light Housekeeping and Meal Preparation:

To help you focus on recovery and bonding, I'll assist with light meal prep, healthy snacks, and tidying up. I'll take care of baby-related laundry to maintain a clean and organized home.
